Jim Masson began his selling career while still in high school.  Working part time for a full line General Motors dealership in a small Northern Ontario town in Canada, Jim sold a preowned car at only seventeen years of age.

He was pleasantly surprised when rewarded with a commission for that sale, the first of many, and discovered that getting paid was indeed very, very good!

After attending college in Canada's capital, Ottawa, he had a successful selling career with large automotive dealerships there, before relocating to Vancouver, British Columbia, in the early 1980s.

In Vancouver he was in partnership for almost ten years in an automotive service business.

After selling his interest in that business, Jim resumed his career as Sales Manager and Sales Trainer with major automobile dealerships that achieved new levels of sales success.

A number of sales people who he helped train have become nationally recognized as Sales Leaders and Sales Masters and several are Sales Managers in the industry today.

Jim has always recognized the tremendous need for professionalism and affordable training in all areas of selling and customer service.  In order to share his extensive experience and success with those pursuing a career in the selling field, Jim has written his book, "Getting Paid is Good!!'' .  He has also offered live sales training seminars through school board sponsored Continuing Education classes and a Vancouver Island University-College to both sales novices and seasoned pros.
Now, he is very pleased to offer the 20 lesson 'Selling at Mastery' self study course to make learning easier and even more affordable for both businesses and individuals wishing to provide a customer buying experience that is well above the ordinary.

Jim and Wanda, his wife of over 30 years, make their home in Victoria BC on southern Vancouver Island.
